75 years since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights marks 75 years since it was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on December 10th, 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A). enshrining the rights of all human beings everywhere in the world.

It is dreadful to notice that 75 years later many signatories countries are still not implementing basic human rights; others remained silent over the human rights abuse by some of their partners due to their countries’ politics and interests in the likeness of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

In DRC the population lives apocalypse from ethnic cleansing, State murders, targeted killing, cannibalism, tribalism, hate speech, exclusion, corruption, nepotism, famine, burning of villages and many more…

DRC Government has legalised injustice and human rights abuse, in this circumstance, we are asking the International Community and the United Nations to stand with the population and protect human rights, especially with the Tutsi who are undergoing ethnic cleansing on the watchful eyes of the said International Community and United Nations.

In forthcoming days, UNHCR will deliver the petition at the Global Refugee Forum, sending a clear and powerful message of solidarity and action to world leaders and decision-makers. This is an unmissable opportunity to advocate for increased action to give hope to the Congolese refugees and internally displaced people to regain their areas of origin in DRC,
